Daily Funny

Being a SAHM has it's blessings and also has it's rough times. Mostly the blessings outweigh the rough times, but then there are those days when I'd debate on posting Austin on Ebay or putting him out in the front yard with a for sale sign over his head. Through MOPS, I'm learning to become a better mom and how to make the most of the ups and downs of mommyhood. One of my New Year resolutions - one that I intend to keep - is to look for a bright spot, some funny memory that will stand out above the chaos and dirty dishes and living room that looks like it blew up with baby clothes and toys. My bright spots of the day - Abbey woke up happy from her nap, cooing and laughing. Austin, my dear precious clean room terroist, was watching Shrek 2 and started laughing. If you've ever seen it, you'll remember the part where Puss was about to attack Shrek and then caught a hairball. Austin about died laughing. This was after he saw the same part two nights ago and laughed as we rewound it 3 or 4 times. There's nothing sweeter than hearing him laugh.
