For those of you who have never had the pleasure in experiencing it, out backyard is a sauna. It's on the west side of our house, with nothing but an itty bitty tree that is doing it's best to grow to provide us with shade. It has a lot of growing to do. This morning was so nice and cool, and the kids were grouchy well before noon, so we decided to head out.
Abbey has never played in the backyard before, so I was not sure what she'd think.
That grass gave her fits!! She'd swat at it, and it'd pop back up. She'd mush it down, but still, it was quite persistent. She decided to move on to bigger and better things...The Slide!!
After observing big brother, she quickly discovered how to go up instead of down :)
Apparently after trying to treat the dog's ball like your own and eating it, you sneeze.

Chasing Emma is hard work, a man's gotta rest and get something to drink.
